Our story began on December 2018, in Dubai, U.A.E. Rawkure’s concept was inspired by the struggle of finding anti-inflammatory foods and treats that would help support the immunity system while being tasteful and nutritious. Everyone is chasing dreams and milestones. A busy schedule that takes us away from a healthy diet. It is our founder's passion to create healthy and delicious foods. She turned her passion into a business that is adding a positive impact to everyone's lives. Rawkure is providing plant-based wholesome foods that are anti-inflammatory, delicious, and nutritious.
Our foods are free from dairy, gluten, eggs, and refined sugar. Rawkure does not add artificial preservatives nor colorings. Our creations cater to anyone that wants to 'eat well to feel good. It is not mandatory to be on a healthy diet to enjoy Rawkure's foods. All ages could enjoy indulging in our mouthwatering foods. Our chefs are preparing Rawkure’s food with so much love, conscience and high standards of hygiene as well.
Welcome to my food and health space! My name is Mariam Hourani, and I am a food lover.
As a Middle Easterner, I grew up in a family that believed in the power of food, especially in strengthening and nourishing the body. Food brings us together no matter our backgrounds. The past eight years, I and my family have suffered from chronic and auto-immune diseases. I use to have abdominal pain with different diagnosis from different doctors around the world. This is when my frustrating and long, yet rewarding health journey started and I decided to change my lifestyle and eating habits, it was only until then I was able to finally get rid of my pain. I rebuilt my immunity and healed my gut by eliminating dairy, gluten, eggs and all processed foods. Surely, none of that happened overnight, but my deep urge to seek the root cause of any disease rather than accepting prescriptions to silence the pain, helped me speed through the process.
I continue to learn and study about Health and Food Medicine as well as Herbalism. The more I studied, the more I practiced. I learned to make food that is healing and good, into food that is tasty and delicious while keeping all the elements of health in them. My family and I have a sweet tooth, so I always need to get creative in the kitchen. It is a challenge I love to wake up to everyday. I hope you enjoy my food as much as I enjoy making them for you.
